Refund and Returns Policy – Burudani
At Burudani, we take pride in offering unique, handcrafted African artisan furniture, pottery, accessories, and decorative items. Each piece is made with care and tradition. While we hope you love your purchase, we understand that there may be occasions when a return is necessary. Please review our return guidelines below.
Return Window
Our refund and returns policy lasts 15 days from the date of purchase. If 15 days have passed since your order, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition

It must be returned in its original packaging

A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required
Please note: We cannot accept returns on any used, damaged, or altered items.

Return Process
To initiate a return, please contact us at info@burudani.uk before sending your item. Items returned without prior notice may not be accepted.
Important: All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Return costs apply as per the courier or delivery company’s standard fees and calculations.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and credited automatically to your original method of payment within a few business days.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they arrive defective or damaged. If this is the case, please email us at info@burudani.uk with clear photographs of the product and packaging. Once approved, we’ll arrange a replacement.
Gifts
If your item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the return value. A gift certificate will be emailed once your return is received and approved.
If the gift was shipped to the purchaser first, the refund will be sent to them.
Return Shipping Address
After contacting us and receiving return instructions, please send your item to the address we provide via email.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, especially for high-value items. We cannot guarantee receipt of items returned without tracking.
