"Why not exact measurements?"

Well, here’s the magic

Every item in our collection is truly one of a kind — handcrafted by time-shaped and experienced African artisan artists using time-honoured techniques and beautiful natural materials. Some are woven from elephant grass, others from palm leaves, and some lovingly shaped from clay. Each piece carries the hands, heart, and story of its maker.

Even if two items look the same — say, two chairs from the same collection — they may still differ slightly in size. That's because no molds or machines are involved here, just artistry and instinct. We always list the individual measurements in the product description, but even then, we use "approx." to honor the beautiful imperfections of handmade work.
